Dear Friends,
Fall is here, and we have a very busy schedule ahead of us, but first, let me begin with an update on the past two months.
Church camp:
We held our church camp from August 11-14. This is always one of the highlights of our year. We had more than 80 of our people join us for four days of worship, fellowship, prayer, and fun. There were also several campers who are not yet believers. One couple has begun attending services faithfully on Sundays, and the husband is attending our small group for seekers. Please pray especially for Arpad and Edina to be saved! It was also a good time of growth for our believers. Thank you for praying.

Church attendance:
We averaged over 100 in attendance during the month of August with numerous visitors in attendance every week. September has started well, and we hope to maintain momentum during the fall. We have five young adults who will be joining the church officially later this month. Focus Church will celebrate its 7th anniversary on September 27th. Please pray for continued growth as we move into year eight.
Obuda church plant:
On September 6th we had our first core group meeting in Obuda. We found a good location for our services and will be meeting there every two weeks on Sunday mornings throughout the fall months. We have a great team of about 16-18 people right now. Most are members of Focus Church, so we are hoping to reach more people who live in the Obuda area over the next few months. Our services will be on September 20, October 4 and 18, November 1, 15 and 29, and December 13. Please pray that we will begin reaching new people.

National Conference on Church planting:
On October 3rd, we will be hosting our annual conference on church planting. This is an all-day conference designed to encourage church planters and their teams and also recruit future church planters. Please pray for a good attendance, and that the Lord would continue to call out church planters into the harvest fields of Hungary. We currently work with about 25 Hungarian church planters and would love to see that number increase!
